The laboratory roller ball mill is widely popular in laboratory ball mills due to its simple structure, wide applicability, and convenient operation.

The laboratory roller ball mill adopts a roller ball mill tank, which is filled with grinding balls of different sizes, and the loading amount is 1/4-1/2 of the effective capacity of the ball mill tank.

When grinding with a laboratory roller ball mill, when the filling rate of the grinding ball is within a reasonable range and the roller ball mill operates at different rotational speeds, the grinding ball may exhibit three basic motion states in the tank. In the first "turnover state", when the rotational speed is too high, the grinding ball is subjected to centrifugal force and rotates closely against the wall of the ball mill tank. All grinding balls form a circular ring on the inner wall of the tank, making it impossible for the grinding ball to collide and squeeze materials; The second "falling state", in which the rotational speed is too low, causes the grinding ball and material to slide off when rotating to 30 ° - 50 ° with the tank wall.

Although it has a partial grinding effect on the material, there is no impact collision, and the grinding energy is small, resulting in poor grinding efficiency; The third "drop state" is a suitable rotational speed of the ball mill. Under the combined action of centrifugal force and friction, the grinding ball moves to a certain height with the tank wall, and then leaves the tank wall and falls freely along a parabolic trajectory. The falling grinding ball impacts and grinds the material, causing it to be crushed.
