Grinding machine manufacturers

Surface grinders can be used to make main shafts, bearing races, and cams, among other things. They can also be used to make blades with different shapes, roller bearings, step drills, and more. You can make these kinds of parts in either a small or a large number. Also, surface grinders can be made with a wide range of features, such as coated slideways, balancing arbors, and more.

Surface grinders can usually cut steel up to 18 inches long. But the model will determine how well the cut is made. Most grinders should be accurate to within +-0.002mm. In addition to the table, a surface grinder has a chuck that can hold different things. This usually means different pieces that are magnetic, but it can also mean pieces that are not magnetic. For soft materials, you may need to do a clop-up. A halogen work lamp is often included with surface grinders. They also have a way to keep them cool. There are also PLC units that can be added that can be programmed to cross feed. All of these parts are made to make sure that the grinding process is done accurately and consistently.

Some surface grinders have lubrication systems that work on their own. So, the grinding wheel can be dressed and kept in balance without anyone touching it. Balanced wheels are important for smooth and effective grinding because they keep the spindle from wearing out too quickly. The workpiece is then held in place with the surface grinder's vise. Most surface grinders have a chuck as their most common way to hold a piece of work. A chuck is different from other work-holding tools because it can hold both magnetic and non-magnetic materials.
